Over the moon to have received my first ever award nomination at the National Student Media Awards (Smedias) under the Irish language short film category for my first short film - (f)Uaim.

(f)Uaim - which roughly translates to 'I need (sound)' - was inspired by my experience in lockdown, moving abroad just a few short weeks before the beginning of the pandemic to a new city where I knew hardly anyone. It was my first attempt at really writing a drama, at DV directing and at editing and I'm so delighted for myself and my fellow classmates who received nominations as well.
