Overview

MPTS 2026 marks the event’s 10th edition and a decade of supporting the creative and technical communities across broadcast, production, post, audio and content creation.

MPTS is a key meeting place for professionals working across film, television, streaming, live production and digital media. The event brings together leading technology providers, service companies, creatives and technologists, combining a large exhibition with a high-quality, free-to-attend programme of talks, panels and live demonstrations. Content is designed to reflect real-world workflows, current challenges and the future direction of the industry.

This year, MPTS will feature several expanded and enhanced elements. These include the Creator Hub, focused on the creator economy, new storytelling formats and emerging talent; Post Production World Conference Europe, with sessions covering editing, VFX, colour, audio post and evolving post-production workflows; and the SMPTE Media Technology Conference Europe, addressing standards, IP, cloud, AI and next-generation media technologies.

Alongside conference content, MPTS provides valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge-sharing and collaboration, bringing together professionals from across the media and entertainment ecosystem in a single, central London location.

As MPTS celebrates its 10th anniversary, the 2026 edition looks ahead to the next decade of content creation, exploring how creativity, technology and collaboration continue to shape the way content is made, delivered and experienced.
