Banijay has closed the UK arm of unscripted label Beyond Productions, following its £27m acquisition of Australian parent company Beyond International last year.

The move is part of an ongoing restructure that led Banijay to fold both Yellow Bird UK and Neon Ink last year.

Launched in 2019 under creative director Damon Pattison, Beyond Productions’ output has included BBC1’s Pooch Perfect and Channel 4’s upcoming Outrageous Homes with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

According to a report in Broadcast, Pattison is one of five Beyond staff whose positions have been made redundant.

Also affected are creative director of factual Hamo Forsyth, head of development Nikki Pinkus, head of production Claire Browne and production manager Jade Hooker.
Beyond Productions’ current production slate will now be managed by Banijay’s remaining UK labels.
