Challenge Producer

Description

Curve Media are seeking a Producer to work within the Challenge Team on an exciting new Channel 4 competition format.

You’ll play a key role in delivering inventive build challenges that combine elements of engineering, design, making and real-world problem solving. Working closely with the senior editorial team, technical experts and wider production team, you’ll help shape editorial, testing, rules and judging criteria, alongside helping to ensure builds remain safe, practical and compliant with Health & Safety requirements throughout production.

The role also involves writing editorial material for shooting scripts and briefs during pre-production and compiling story notes on the shoot for the edit.

The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in engineering, invention, and making, alongside a proven ability to develop creative factual entertainment content.

This position is based in our Cardiff office. Ideally, candidates will be based in Wales or able to work from the Cardiff office at least three days per week.

This position is expected to start in early/mid June for 8 weeks. The successful candidate must be available for a two-week filming period in mid-July - location to be confirmed. Exact details will be confirmed at interview.
