Junior Production Manager
Description
As a Junior Production Manager at Box to Box Films, you will assist the Production Manager in the day to day running
of the production. You will oversee the financial, logistical and administrative operations of our high end, unscripted
TV productions. You will plan, assist in scheduling filming, troubleshoot, and problem-solve to ensure a smooth
production process. This includes liaising with the Production Management & Editorial teams, assisting with the
budgets, liaising with external suppliers, ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and following data
protection guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
● Financial Management: Assist the Production Manager with the budget on a daily basis, process
invoices, and petty cash. Escalate financial risks issues to the Production Manager.
● Scheduling and Planning: Update the filming schedules, supervise call sheets, and oversee location
permits and releases.
● Contract Management: Advise the Production Manager on any contracts that may need to be issued and
assist in compiling when necessary.
● On-Location Supervision: Assist production on-site to ensure smooth operations and that the crew is
properly equipped.
● Post-Production Coordination: Ensure all materials are cleared for use and necessary release forms
obtained.
● Health and Safety Compliance: Where applicable, assist in preparing the Production Risk Assessment.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and data protection laws throughout production.
● Kit purchase: Advise on any kit purchases requested.
● Sustainability: Ensure that Albert information is being processed and that the team adheres to the
company and production Sustainability Green policies and targets.
Skills and Qualifications:
● Strong prioritisation and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong organisational skills, ability to work under pressure, to deadlines, ability to multi-task.
● Must work well in a team environment, be approachable and have good interpersonal skills.
● Must have excellent attention to detail
● Confident ability to delegate tasks when necessary
● Strong knowledge of setting up both UK and international filming
● Good knowledge of filming kit and post production workflow
● Good knowledge in budget management and financial forecasting.
● Knowledge of contracts and legal requirements.
● Knowledge of health and safety regulations, data protection laws, and copyright compliance.
● Familiarity with new production technologies and efficient workflows.
● Knowledge of Albert and Sustainability goals within the TV industry
Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Senior Production Manager, Production Executive or Head of Production and
collaborate with other members of the Production Management & Editorial teams. You may also manage Production
Coordinators, Assistants, and Runners.
