About Us

AESA Films produces films on critical global events, raising awareness around environmental issues that call for change. We endeavour to inspire our viewers with a combination of captivating scripts, high-end productions, eye-catching animations and unique post production styles.

Led by powerhouse team of Dr Allen Dobrovolsky (environmental scientist and geochemist), film editor Alex Fitzwater and writer Nicole McCuaig, the company is based in Queensland, Australia and was founded in 2017. ⠀⠀

What sets AESA films apart is its strong commitment to researching & documenting environmental issues. Executive Producer Dr Allen Dobrovolsky has investigated environmental disasters such as Chernobyl, and has seen first-hand the damage caused by these types of events. Our passion for sailing, diving & exploring keeps us aware of the pressing global concerns of the natural world.

AESA Films is the film production company behind the multi-award winning documentary ‘Murder on the Reef’, which received over 30 awards and nominations from the festivals around the world, including The Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival, Accolade Global Film Competition, Festigious International Film Festival, Virgin Spring Cinefest, Awareness Film Festival, and many others.
