About Us

Whitworth Media is a UK independent producer with offices in Cumbria and London. We have a great collaborative working environment and with a small team working on a small numbers of hours each year, every production gets our full love and attention. Working across all areas of factual we have great relationships with broadcasters including BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, UKTV, Disney+, Amazon, Netflix, National Geographic, Discovery and History. We have particular expertise with access-based productions, including commercial brands, sport and the military, and with talent lead projects. Recent Productions include: Inside the Spitfire Factory (More4/Channel 4), Inside Cadbury: Secrets of the Chocolate Factory (Channel 4), Chris Tarrant Extreme Railway Journeys (Channel 5), Railways of the Holocaust (Channel 5), DHL: Delivering the World (Channel 5, 4 x 60’) and Megastructures (National Geographic).
