About Us

Pulse Films develops and produces award winning feature films, theatrical documentaries and scripted TV. Credits include LCD Soundsystem documentary ‘Shut Up And Play The Hits’ (Official Selection Sundance 2012, SXSW 2012), ‘Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D’, released worldwide by Paramount Pictures, and Grammy Nominated and Grierson Shortlisted Blur documentary ‘No Distance Left To Run’. Additional credits include ‘The Road To Redrocks’, ‘There are No Innocent Bystanders’, ‘Werewolves Across Across America’ and ‘Look Back, Don’t Stare’. ‘Who Is Dayani Cristal?’ (Day 1 Film Sundance 2013 and winner of ‘Best Cinematography’) starring Gael Garcia Bernal will be released in 2014 as well as the Nick Cave documentary ’20,000 Days On Earth” in partnership with Film 4 and BFI. Pulse roster directors Ed Lovelace and James Hall are currently shooting innovative hybrid documentary ‘In Your Voice, In Your Heart’ exploring the musician Edwyn Collins’ recovery from a devastating stroke, and Steven Kijak’s Backstreet Boys documentary is in post production.
