About Us

Knickerbockerglory is an independent production company specialising in producing entertaining, intelligent and innovative television adventures.

Launched in 2011 by Jonathan Stadlen, Knickerbockerglory was created to provide a ‘home away from home’ for producers and directors looking to play with genre and form in an environment that is fun, supportive and creatively liberating.

Our founding producers, Jonathan Stadlen, Pat Doyle and Hannah Springham, were the production team behind the BAFTA nominated and RTS award winning Pineapple Dance Studios.

Knickerbockerglory was set up as a profit-sharing company, meaning earnings from shows we produce are shared between staff, and every year we donate a percentage of our profits to a different charity chosen by our production teams.

Knickerbockerglory is completely independent - we are not owned by a large media corporation, distributor or super-indie. Because of this we are creatively autonomous and able to choose our projects first
