About Us

The Edinburgh International Television Festival is THE essential fixture for everyone in the television industry wanting inspiration, networking, learning and fun.

Established in 1976 and attended by over 2000 delegates the festival has featured hundreds of globally renowned top TV executives as speakers.

The Edinburgh International Television Festival is governed by its Executive and Advisory committees making it the only event both run by and for the television industry.

Being a charitable organisation, the festival runs two prestigious talent schemes, The Network and Ones to Watch (formerly known as Fast Track), run by their own committee, as well as The Network at Work, the festival’s work placement scheme.

The Edinburgh International Television Festival takes place every August at the heart of Edinburgh festival season. The address is EICC, 150 Morrison Street, The Exchange Edinburgh, EH3 8EE.
