Employment HistoryAfter graduating University in 2016, I very quickly started my career in the Post Production world as a runner at ENVY Post. Whilst there I learned the vital workflow overview of the post production process and received training in Offline Media Ingest, Syncing, Grouping and Troubleshooting, Offline Edit Support, general Avid Media Composer usability, Online Edit and grade support and eventually ascended to Offline Services Supervisor (OSS) in 2019.
As an OSS I liaised with clients to ensure their projects were running smoothly from a technical standpoint and worked alongside the Post Producers overseeing their projects to problem solve and refine individual workflows to best suit each production. I also supervised other Offline Edit Assistants in the department over two post production out-house facilities at ENVY, ensuring the high standard of Edit Support was met at all times. I also occasionally engaged in Post Production Engineering duties when needed.
I left ENVY to pursue my ambitions as an Editor at Raw TV for their biggest, longest running series; Gold Rush in 2020 where I worked as an Assistant Editor. Since then, I often gained opportunities to cut scenes and story beats. This lead to my first 3 credits as an Editor, cutting 2 episodes in Series 15 as well as the finale for Series 14.
