James is a series director best known for the Emmy Award-nominated series THE RELUCTANT TRAVELER, starring Eugene Levy; the BAFTA Award-nominated hit BBC Series SORT YOUR LIFE OUT; and, most recently, Apple TV’s groundbreaking food series KNIFE EDGE: CHASING MICHELIN STARS, executive produced by client Gordon Ramsay and nominated for a BAFTA Television Award.

James’ work shows an ability to blend striking visuals, distinctive format points, and documentary sensibilities, bridging the gap between large scale premium productions and intimate storytelling, and creating bold series that resonate with mainstream audiences in the factual entertainment and documentary genre.
