Producer / Director and Edit Producer, with a strong research background and a Masters degree in history. My strengths lie in Producing / Directing documentaries, particularly in the edit, with a proven track record of crafting interesting and compelling stories. I also have experience working on location, directing interviews and actuality filming.
I have a strong background in historical programming, having Produced and Directed on the Netflix series 'History 101' and on a collection of documentaries looking at the history of the British royal family for Channel 5, both at ITN Productions. This has included the one-off documentary The Forgotten Prince: The Mystery of the Duke of Kent, which studied the life of Prince George, Duke of Kent, and unresolveed circumstances surronding his death. This role required me to balance off factual accuracy whilst still exploring consipracies that have since emerged.
As well as working on history formats, I have made multiple true crime series, including being part of the long running Discovery USA series 'Body Cam' at Arrow Media for two years as both a Director and Edit Produccer. I was able to apply the skills I gained in true crime, when working on the documentary, 'Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy' for Peacock which investigated the circumstances surronding the actor's death.
My other previous EP cridits range from the long running Channel 4 property and travel series, A Place in the Sun at Freeform Productions and BBC daytime property series, Escape to the Country at Boundless Productions and the primetime Sky Pick crime series, Britain’s Most Evil Killers, at Woodcut Media. The later involved writing a highly factual script with complex legal points about highly significant past murder cases.
As well as Edit Producing on the series Love Rats, for the streaming service, Paramout+ and later Netflix, that looked at instances of online romance crime. I've overseen multiple edits, with programmes ranging in duration - including 19, 60 and 90 minutes, featuring archive material and talking head interviews. I havew written complex factual voiceover scripts, building an overall narrative across the programmes.

Other key Edit Producer credits included major formatted series, including the highly successful BBC series, Great British Railway Journeys, presented by Micheal Portillo. Prior to this role, I story produced on location for the series, finding historical stories to feature on the programme and was responsible for the editorial content and schedule whilst we filmed on location in Canada and Sweden.
Prior to this, I produced a history and architecture series for UKTV, The World's Greatest Palaces, where I was responsible for negotiating access to Palaces across the world, including in Italy and India. I have experience managing complex location shoots, including coordinating a filming team whilst on location and ensuring the shoot runs according to schedule. I have sourced locations and experts in both the UK and across Europe in countries such as France, Italy, Germany and Hungary - and further afield, including North America and parts of Asia.
