As a creative, organised and outgoing individual, with good communication skills and experience in the production industry, I look forward to applying the skills I have acquired through my work and academic experience to the field of media.Over the years, I have learned to thrive in busy environments. My ability to listen actively and communicate effectively is demonstrated in how consistently I achieve production deadlines. Whether managing production related paperwork or assisting the production crew on shoots, my skillset allows me to succeed in high-pressured creative environments.During my 2017 internship with Ultima studios, I worked as an essential aid to the Head Producer; assisting with video editing, curating content, organising travel arrangements, helping on set and performing other runner duties. This required excellent communication and multitasking capabilities in order to achieve set targets. During this internship, I became proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects.I have always been a visual thinker, fascinated with how ideas are developed into productions, which is what led me to study Media Practice at university. For my final year project, my team and I produced “Chasing Fire”, a high-quality documentary about Poi, a performance art. I enjoyed the creative process as a whole, from story boarding, to filming and editing.
