Adrian Turpin has spent many years working in the realms of broadcast, independent production, theatre and live events and has gained a wealth of experience in these fields, both technically and creatively. He has designed, directed and operated a wide variety of styles of theatrical and television lighting. He is an experienced TV Lighting Director and Stage Lighting Designer, DaVinci Resolve Colourist, occasional DoP and Lighting Cameraman and a BBC Lighting Vision Supervisor.Adrian had the unusual opportunity provided by the BBC of learning both the technical and the creative side of the production process in tandem. His passion is picture production whether it be moving pictures, still images or live audience.Adrian currently runs The Light Direction Ltd. with a fully kitted out DaVinci Resolve Colour Grading Suite and is an owner / operator of a Whole Hog 4 lighting console. He offers services as an LD and Colourist for broadcast, film and video production.
