Experienced assistant producer looking to put my journalistic skills to use whilst gaining experience in investigative documentaries and current affairs, as well as true crime and blue light genres. Proven ability to work on high pressure, fast turnaround projects, with meticulous organisations and attention to detail. Confident working on complex and legally sensitive stories and maintaining excellent relationships with sensitive contributors.

- Developing and pitching stories, sourcing contributors, sound awareness of legal and compliance issues
- Confident negotiating access with major police forces and national agencies
- Setting up and managing large scale shooting blocks
- Familiar with BBC and stock archive systems, working to budgets and clearing with worldwide in perpetuity
- Full clean drivers licence – valid BBC Driver Declaration, over 25 for insurance purposes Read Less
