Factual, specialist factual and formats producer, with experience in both development and production, across a wide variety of award-winning factual and specialist factual productions for UK and US broadcasters. I’m adaptable and have a “muck in” attitude having worked in just about every TV role - from runner to DV Director. I enjoy the variety and freshness of switching between development and production - and find I work best this way.

My production credits include everything from observational documentary, crime, military history, specialist factual... through to factual entertainment, formats and daytime. I'm particularly skilled at managing contributors and gaining access, and have dealt with sensitive access in my capacity filming crime - with victim family members, police, and inside institutions such as hospitals and military bases.I have both self-shooting and directing experience, normally with a small one or two man crew. International filming experience in America and Europe - I have an I-visa for American travel. Experience using Sony FS7 and Canon lenses, backing up rushes, conducting interviews and filming reconstruction and actuality. I'm also a hobbyist wildlife/landscape/street photographer - own two Nikon cameras with professional lenses. I have relevant training in compliance, self-shooting and health and safety.

Development - In my current role I work for Wild Blue Media headed by former Top Gear and BBC exec Gary Hunter. Developing ideas for all the major broadcasters, but with a particular emphasis on National Geographic, Channel 4, Discovery and UKTV. At Wild Blue i've pitched directly to commissioners and gained development funding for two projects close to commission - at Red Bull and National Geographic. I'm particularly strong at designing and creating slick treatments that help sell an idea or format. I'm gaining confidence pitching and want to progress into a more senior development position.
