Jaine is an excellent, hard working, super experienced producer with a wide ranging skillset. We recently completed a remote working primetime documentary in lockdown where Jaine became the main archive mastermind. I was amazed by her dedicaton and the results we managed to achieve as a team under the toughest of circumstances. Looking forward to working with Jaine again in the near future.
Jaine is among the very best producers I have worked with in three decades in TV. She has a good sense of the big picture while never losing sight of the essential detail. She is brilliant with contributors - both finding them and getting them to the screen. She is determined, uncomplaining and resourceful and never gives up. She does all this while remaining cheerful, amusing and lots of fun. I work with her any chance I get.
Jaine worked with me on the most butt-clenchingly tight turnaround drama-doc series about the Wars of the Roses. From a standing start we had to write 4 hour-long, meticulously researched, costed and planned films about the trickiest part of British history. We could not have done this without Jaine's application, dedication and skill. She brought her talents with good grace, intelligence and wit. I'd recommend her to anyone...
Jaine worked for me as an AP on a history drama doc. Her specialised knowledge of history was invaluable and she was hard working, organised and always positive.
Jaine worked with me as AP on a episode of the family history series 'Who Do You Think You Are?'. I found her to be very organised, enthusiastic and conscientious. She put together a complex filming schedule and was invaluable on the shoot itself. She also worked very well with Brian Blessed, the celebrity whose family history we were tracing. Jaine also loves history which really helped!
Jaine did a wonderful job on our film Fire in the Night - a feature documentary about the Piper Alpha disaster. The film required an incisive historical eye and a forensic approach to it's research. Part of her job was to go through the long and complex public enquiry and work out the routes our characters took to make their escape from the burning oil rig.
She also had to match this with our characters personal testimony and try to paint an accurate picture of what happened . This was a long and complicated process but was done brilliantly.
Jaine also helped organise a long and busy shoot and worked sensitively and sympathetically with our contributors during a difficult time - as they recalled the past..
All in all Jaine is a very good AP - bright, organised, extremely diligent, and great company...
