A shooting AP and camera operator with advanced camera skills, storytelling and natural history knowledge.

I’m experienced filming animal behavioural sequences as well as presenter-led natural history content. I have extensive experience setting up shoots and working on location. I put storytelling at the heart of all that I do. 

I have worked as assistant producer for multiple series of BBC Studio's Springwatch where I have shot wildlife sequences (including the opening sequence for Springwatch 24), VTs and mindful moment films, and digital content films. I have also been assistant producer on a variety of live content, working with large-scale live broadcast crews and working with high profile presenters. 

I was shooting AP on the global impact campaign 'Our Planet Earth' which followed Planet Earth III, which delivered high impact short films and social media reels focused on Human health and climate change. A highlight being leading a shoot with contributors in remote areas of Romania in the Carpathian Mountains. 

Currently a shooting AP for Countryfile, where I have a mixed role including working as 2nd camera on a number of episodes, edit producing wildlife inserts using archive, producing wildlife related inserts for Countryfile's 'Wild Britain' initiative and also creating the digital content for BBCiPlayer, socials and audience facing initiatives such as this year's photographic competition with the theme of 'Natural Wonders'. 

Camera skills include; long lens, drone, gimbal, sliders, time-lapse, remote cams, high speed, 4K, FX9, & A7Siii, Knowledge of REDs and CN20. 

AP skills include; remote natural history shoot set ups, managing contributors and presenters, kit planning, field producing skills, research and script writing, working with the edit both offline and online, working in high pressured environments.
