I have a reputation for delivering successful programmes within budget and schedule which are valued by both production company and commissioner. From live gallery producing to single documentary films and formatted series I have worked across multiple factual genres and faced a variety of programme making challenges. I aim to choose projects with integrity and creative vision at heart. I like to work with talented, ambitious people and enable them to express their ideas within a supportive framework. Teams value my positivity, decisiveness and sense of humour.
I specialise in post-greenlight development and access to public institutions - having shaped several new series over recent years.
As Executive Producer at Purple Productions, across two years I have overseen over 60 episodes of Motorway Cops for Channel 5, negotiating access to new UK Police Forces as well as gaining access to a US police force in New Jersey to deliver a series of Motorway Cops USA to Paramount+.
Most recently, I was showrunner on a brand new daytime series for BBC One - Doorbell Detectives presented by Matt Allwright. Developing the series post commission, I was key in shaping a fresh take on the true crime genre, all filmed in a virtual studio. This 5 part series broadcast in June 2025 was immediately recommissioned for a second series of 12 episodes.
Previously, I enjoyed working with Blink Films on my first streamer project, a premium crime series for Discovery+, a new departure for me and a great experience.
In 2018 I joined Dragonfly as Co-Executive Producer on the fourth series of their BAFTA award winning documentary 'Ambulance'. For this series the entire production was relocated to Manchester and I was the full-time regional Exec.
Prior to this I spent several years as a Series Producer in observational documentary, factual entertainment, features and Children's for BBC, Channel 4 and Channel 5. Previous credits include: "Breaking The Silence: Live", Channel 4's first ever Live rig; "The Kids' Hospital at Christmas", a three part 9pm documentary series for Channel 5; the CBBC factual entertainment series "VIP People" and "Neighbourhood Watched" the observational series following the work of housing officers on estates in Greater Manchester for BBC 1.
I've managed big teams on a variety of series but I've also spent time working alone on single documentaries for both BBC and Channel 4 including a critically acclaimed "Cutting Edge". I've negotiated access for filming with many high-profile organisations including the NHS and The Royal Family.
I also have over 50 hours of live gallery experience from my time as Producer on the BBC 1 live magazine programme 'The Heaven and Earth Show'. I am ideally looking for Executive Producer or Series Editor roles based in the North West.
