I'm a conservation and nature enthusiast, especially the marine environment. I'm a qualified dive master and shark specialist. I have facilitated a number of media crews in the field wanting to film marine life, especially sharks. I had a successful career as an environmental consultant in the construction industry for 5 years with experience in environmental law, environmental impact assessments, environmental audits and a zero waste to landfill project which gained UK wide recognition and awards. I also managed HSE legislation and audits and gained many HSE qualifications. I left this role to pursue my dream to become a marine biologist and have an MSc in marine environmental management. I have 5 years experience working in Marine Protected Areas studying sharks, in field data collection, running and managing a volunteer programme, community education, guiding boat / snorkel / dive trips. dive surveys, bird ringing, data analysis, report writing, operations management and H&S, presenting and contributing to TV / film documentaries and school trips. I am a fully qualified Dive Master with over 300 dives. I am currently working with a wildlife NGO in Rwanda, running school education days, rescuing and rehabilitating captured wild animals and releasing them back into the wild, report writing, animal surveys, tree planting initiatives and biodiversity surveys.
