I am a freelance location assistant based primarily in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have experience working on short film “Falling” and I am currently training on Mammoth Screen’s “World on Fire” in Manchester until February.I first gauged an interest in locations when I worked as the Venue Manager for Newcastle University’s Theatre Society, where I located and arranged the booking of venues for all of their productions over the duration of the year. These locations varied from theatres, to bars, hotels, churches, community centres - depending on the director’s vision for their piece, and therefore required creativity, initiative and involved liaising between both the crew and the location.I also gained experience as an amateur producer when I produced "The Addams Family" musical which was performed at Northern Stage, Newcastle. I was also a stage manager for several of the Newcastle University Theatre Society's performances in various venues across the North East. Read Less
