I set up my own company Orange Trousers to develop and produce independent projects as circumstances dictated at the time, to have flexible working hours to suit my current situation. I wanted to work with directors, writers and producer developing ideas into scripts, develop scripts into films and then to distribute the films into the market place. I have achieved more than I ever expected: a feature film - SEAMONSTERS - available on Amazon Prime and a Film London funded short film 11 MINS 26 SECONDS and been involved in the development of many more short/feature film, a TV Drama Series and Documentary. I am accomplished at preparing pitch documents, attaching directors, writers, and cast for BFI and independent funding, working within teams that respond well to brainstorming ways through roadblocks and collaborating on the winding road of the creative and practical process to a fully formed concept, script and production. I have also good skills when it comes to budgeting and scheduling productions as I have found this a valuable asset to apply at interim stages of the development of any project. Whilst searching for funding for films, documentaries and TV Series, I accidentally won work on projects not solely dedicated to Film and TV. Initially, out of my comfort zone, I soon realised my natural inclination to be interested in pretty much everything in the world, and by applying my current development and production skills I was successful as a Publisher/Producer of High End Large format Pictures books and an Investment/Creative development director attached to launching an online Fashion Exchange Company. Now my working hours are no longer compromised I would like to commit fully to working within a company that aligns with my ambitions, to be involved with projects that starts with recognising a good idea, sparks my energy to develop it into a fully formed production ready for exposure into the market place. To work on projects that provokes an audience to think, laugh, cry, even to perhaps create a 'butterfly effect' to enhance, explore and change our lives is what sustains and inspires me.
