Gideon draws his film editing from past life experiences in the art, photographic and music worlds.See recent work here: www.gideongold.co.ukSince leaving the National Film School, Gideon’s work has broadcast across the world on prime international television networks (Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Showtime, Discovery, ESPN, BBC, ABC, etc. and on theatrical release. Gideon has instinctively delivered highly original and cinematic narratives known for their distinct, dynamic empathy and often witty style. He prefers working with fiction and documentary film but also enjoys cutting commercials and film-trailers, allowing him to experiment and push the editing medium. He is hugely committed to each project, with a keen interest to be involved in every step that a producer would allow; embracing early script proofing, supervising grading, providing superb temp music, detailed sound design and working closely with composers and the sound designer through to the dub. Gideon has enjoyed working as a consultant on a number of films, providing detailed notes, edits, restructuring and reinvention of short and feature length films.
