I am a producer specialising in factual entertainment, current affairs, arts and observational documentaries. I have also worked on commercials, digital content for non-profit organisations and on independent films.

My niche is working in casting, forward planning and setting up international shoots; my credits include programmes for the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV networks.

I have a foundation in psychodynamic counselling and have worked in several situations where sensitivity is paramount; including making a film about homeless ex-service men. I’ve had the opportunity to interview and work with a diverse range of people: from refugee children to people with dementia and specialists in their field.

At university, I studied photography and fine art; I have a creative eye and have produced and directed my own documentary films. My current project follows the journey of a Ukrainian opera company touring the UK over several years.

My casting experience is extensive; one of my strengths is the ability to find characters that have that extra something to carry a programme, whether that's the slightly quirky personalities from the BBC 2 Wonderland strand or for a more mainstream factual entertainment series such as the BAFTA winning series TOWE. I have also worked in casting for stills photography commercials and enjoy sourcing certain looks and styles.

I’ve had the opportunity to work in television, advertising, independent filmmaking and theatre; the skills I have developed at these creative industries are interchangeable and invaluable. My other specialist interests include alterative health and fitness; I am a qualified yoga and meditation teacher and have studied ayurvedic medicine in India.

My instinct is to think laterally, I enjoy is coming up with new casting strategies and I’m especially good at working to a tight deadline and on difficult briefs.
