A creative problem solver, with nearly five years of blue-chip Natural History film-making experience and a strong academic background in Earth Sciences. I am proactive, collaborative and have a proven track record in developing and delivering ground-breaking stories that make complex science accessible and entertaining.

With a PhD in Himalayan geology and experience hosting an interview-based science podcast, I have an aptitude for validating and presenting the science behind intricate natural processes. I am confident in setting up technical Natural History and VFX shoots to remote international locations, with large crews, including: macro, studio, cineflex, boat, drone and high-risk environment shoots. I have worked on fast turnaround contributor and presenter led productions, developing as-lives and compelling stories, as well as shooting second camera. I have experience directing BTS interviews, blue-chip sequences and VFX plates. I enjoy collaborative working with multi-disciplinary crews and I’m quick to form connections in my teams and with scientists, fixers and NGOs.
