A multi-award winning Producer & Director with 25 years experience in the media, focusing on natural history, science and news documentaries. Currently a freelance Producer, I have an excellent track record of development, initiating close to £3 million worth of ideas, from their initial conception to commission, for independent companies and BBC \ BBC Studios. Extensive experience gained with a wide range of broadcasters and co-producers, including BBC, Discovery, BBC Studios, PBS, NHK, ORF, CTV, Animal Planet, BBC Media Action, Blue Ant Media, BBC News, and Smithsonian. I am organised and creative with a talent for building strong relationships with contributors and colleagues.I also manage media events and have done so for: BBC Academy Fusion - 'Sounds Amazing' 2018 - a day of talks and demonstrations with a Tech Expo. BBC History - I was the BBC liaison for a Natural History filming exhibition at the National Science and Media Museum, and for the Wildscreen Film Festival. I've been Chair of Communicate (An annual environmental communication conference) and I oversaw the BBC's presence at the Festival of Nature for 5 years.
