Experienced Vision Mixer - Director working across live music, light entertainment, events and sports. I have an in-depth understanding of all technical elements involved in a television production within a wide range of live workflows, including traditional OB coverages, remote production, fixed rig, cloud based production and cinematic multi-camera. Combining this knowledge with strong editorial and creative skills allows me to maximise the use of resources and ensure a high level of production value. My experience ranges from visualising, developing and planning the tv coverage of international sporting events, to global music live streams and high end corporate events. I’m used to both following strict editorial guidelines and developing a vision from scratch. Previous experience as an editor allows me to support a production from the very early stages through to final post. I’m comfortable working in complex live situations, with multiple studios or locations on air at the same time and having to reposition cameras across areas during different segments of the live show. I’m also used to working in fast paced environments and under pressure. I always strive to provide clear guidance, as well as a calm and safe environment for my colleagues to work in. I am used to training junior members of the team in graphics and VT operation. I have an in depth knowledge of most industry standard vision mixers, and have experience in building complex shows with multi layered keying, use of multiple MEs, DVEs, assembling AR feeds, creating clean feeds and controlling aux buses with substitution tables for in vision monitors and led walls.
