I am an experienced PD based in the Northwest, with my own FS7 mk2 kit, drone and transport. I’ve been shooting and directing for TV since the pre-DV days of Hi8 and am alway happy with a camera in my hands and the best at character led actuality. I have shot and directed within a team, The British Tribe Next Door (Voltage - C4) in Namibia and before that the first three series of ‘The Real Marigold Hotel’ (TwoFour - BBC) in India. I have years of experience directing crews including 21 hour long episodes (cut 16) of ‘Country House Rescue’ (Betty- C4) over four series and ‘Mary Berry’s Country House Secrets’ (Shine - BBC1), but have also directed programmes as diverse as ‘16 Kids and Counting’, ‘24 Hours in the Past’, ‘Piers Morgan on... Sandbanks’, ‘Brits in Bangkok’, ‘Wife Swap’, ‘No Going Back’, ‘Life Laundry’, ‘Travel Sick’, profiles for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and mini dramas for Daisy Goodwin’s ‘Essential Poems to Fall in Love With’.More recently, I have had a Natural History DOP role, filming bears in Kamchatka for Netflix, shot and directed a one-off hour documentary for Channel Four and filmed 20 episodes of James Martin’s Spanish Adventure, in six weeks!
