Making great television takes hard work, good people, and the ability to stay calm when everything’s happening at once. I’ve spent the last 20 years producing across obs-doc, factual entertainment and reality television, and I still genuinely enjoy the unpredictability and fun of it all.

I’m organised, reliable, experienced and collaborative, comfortable with everything from planning shoots and running crews to edit producing and getting strong rushes in the can. I like people to feel relaxed when filming - it usually makes for better television.

Over the years, I’ve interviewed hundreds of contributors, presenters and talent, from Mariah Carey and Drew Pritchard to Davina McCall and Tony Blair, as well as craftspeople, surgeons, police officers and teen mums. I enjoy finding the human story and understanding what makes people tick.

My credits include Salvage Hunters, Travelling Auctioneers, Come Dine With Me, 24 Hours in Police Custody, Geordie Shore, The Yorkshire Vet, Dog Rescuers and The Real Housewives of Cheshire, so I’m comfortable whether the day involves antiques, emotional contributor stories, police access, or somebody arguing beside a hot tub.
