Having a passion for crafting the story and a lifelong love affair with episodic escapism, has led to a 20 year long career in the tv and film industry as director primarily producing long form content. Being one of very few Jamaican female directors, coupled with my love for working in the film industry has led to me also honing my skills as a Producer, Writer, Script Supervisor, editor, and Fixer. During this time, I have directed tv commercials for one of the world's top fast food chains with the highest grossing locations in Jamaica - KFC; developed, directed and show run Jamaica's first kids quiz tv show while working on international productions such as One Love, the Amazing Race, America's Next Top Model, A Perfect Getaway and Food Paradise International. Additionally, I have also been show runner and director of several television series from reality to comedy. They include: Heineken Green Synergy, Jack Daniels Grill Off, Deal or No Deal and 2 Sisters and a Meal. My multifaceted directing career has garnered 7 Caribbean Addy Awards and a Jamaican Chamber of Commerce Award for my commercial work. While my short film WINSTON is currently screening in festivals across the US and has garnered 1 Best Screenplay nomination and 2 Best Actor Awards. Based in Los Angeles, I am focused on utilizing my unique Jamaican female lens to direct diverse television and film content for global content platforms.
