I am an experienced Assistant Producer & Field Director with over six years’ experience finding, setting up & directing a range of complex shoots for landmark behavioural-led natural history content with character-led storytelling for global audiences, delivering high-end, emotionally engaging storytelling. I have excellent directing & location skills, with almost 18 months on location in a wide range of environments & countries. I possess in-depth technical knowledge, having used a breadth of equipment types in the field, and can self-shoot. I have significant edit experience, from edit prep through to the online. I am a strong communicator, collaborating closely with Series Producers, Producers, Researchers & production management on complex international shoots. My time with cinematographers of varying experience in a range of scenarios means I’m confident managing teams on location whatever the setting & ensuring we obtain the desired footage.

I have a Research Masters in Conservation Ecology and 1st Class degree in Biological Sciences. I am also a widely-published wildlife photographer with awards in several competitions, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year and European Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

I feel lucky to have started my career at Wildstar in 2019, & have been continuously employed there since then, stepping through roles & gaining valuable experience across the whole production timeline, moving from Researcher when I joined in 2019 to an experienced AP & Field Director with shooting and significant edit experience today.
