I had the pleasure of working with Simon on a very tricky show. From the onset Simon dived straight in and told the story clearly and concisely and knew which story arcs to pursue to get the most out of the rushes. He's a highly competent producer-director, who is always prepared to go the extra mile to make his programmes better. And part from that, he's a lovely guy to spend long hours in a small room with.
