As an editor David is like a secret weapon. In Smuggled he very much set the series style and sound, with his brilliant sense of cinematic pacing and the C4 commissioning editors were really impressed for this high profile and highly scrutinized series. Similarly on Hurricane Man he was key setting the look and feel of series that punched far above its weight, when you look at what we achieved with such a tight budget and schedule. He is much more than just style though - I've worked directly with David and seen first hand, how he can sniff out the most pertinent character moments and weave them into a wonderful stories.
