An experienced and versatile Assistant Producer with BCTJ-accredited Broadcast journalism training. I am interested in documentary, current affairs and general factual work. I have experience working in both development and production roles, supporting large and small teams alike. I am skilled at digging deep for stories, conducting thorough and accurate research, identifying key contributors and negotiating tricky access. While I can be tenacious in following leads, I am also used to dealing with sensitive issues and can build rapport easily with potential contributors.Practical skills include: self-shooting, editing (Premier Pro/Audition), producing compelling and visually impressive treatments, fact-checking, interviewing and setting up logistically complex shoots.
