Read MoreI am a driven Assistant Producer who has a background in storytelling that spans current affairs and science documentaries, factual entertainment, children's, daytime and competition formats.
In each of these areas, I have gained a strong understanding of how storytelling works and how to put contributors at ease. I have worked with contributors from sensitive backgrounds, including those who are facing homelessness; people in recovery, people who are transitioning and also children with long-term health conditions. I have done training in Duty of Care and Welfare, which has helped facilitate this work.
I am a confident shooter who has worked independently on solo shoots, producing IVS and directing sequences. I am also comfortable as a second camera in a multi-cam studio setup and on location shooting actuality. (FX6, FS7, FX9, Go Pro, A7S)
I pride myself in quickly getting stuck into a production, whether using my journalistic instinct to deep-dive into research, setting up shoots or sourcing experts/ contributors to strengthen a story.
As well as production, I have worked in Development since 2019, across multiple genres in unscripted television. I am confident at leading brainstorms, writing up and pitching ideas, for long-form and short-form content. I am happy to use my shooting skills to create sizzles and I know my way around editing software.
