Over the past year I have worked as a researcher and script reader for Blazing Griffin productions on TRC's RAD Training Scheme. I was chosen as one of 8 participants from a pool of 230 applicants. It was a brilliant scheme which included monthly training from a collection of industry experts on topics ranging from pitching to working with archives. At Blazing Griffin I was able to work on a wide variety of projects where my creative muscles were thoroughly stretched. It was a brilliant learning experience that expanded my skillset allowed me to fine-tune my abilities in a number of roles.My background in writing and editing proved highly beneficial in my work as development researcher and script reader, and opened up opportunities to edit DVD extras for a couple of projects as well as auditions and promotional material. My creative drive was truly engaged by the work I did and I was lucky enough to work with people that got me even closer to my passions.I have taken part of panels such as the Get In event in Glasgow in 2019 where I spoke about getting into the industry and my experiences in working in the industry with a disability.Film is one of my major passions, and as companion to that is simply storytelling. Stories through art, comics, TV, online, and whatever else. While my love of film and art goes well beyond story, my natural tendencies in creation definitely lean towards telling stories. I am highly motivated in getting to work with the skills and dreams I have through my work in pursuing filmmaking in whatever form possible.I am currently working on a short film with my fellow RAD graduates, for which I am the writer Read Less
