JOJO McGUINNESS!With five series of The 1% Club under my belt, I am fully immersed in puzzle and logic problem-style questions but my roots are in more traditional Q&A so I am happy to turn my hand to whatever is required. I have high standards and I challenge myself to produce off the wall questions from unexpected subjects. I am constantly thinking about how anything I see or hear can become a question for a show.
As QP for The 1% Club, I selected the questions submitted by the external writing team, assisted in the surveying process and managed the production of the graphics - each one specially created. I can work with all levels of production staff, presenters, verifiers, database designers and graphics teams. I am experienced in managing people and I can be relied upon to act with the utmost discretion and professionalism at all times. I am calm under pressure and appreciate the necessity for last minute changes and flexibility.
Despite working in TV quizzes, I enjoy watching them in my spare time as well. I like to keep up to date with new shows as they come on. I was a contestant on a few shows in my younger days which led to me being asked to be a Question Writer and hence my TV career was born. Quizzes excite me and ignite my creativity.
My header might give the impression I'm a bit cheesey and have no shame. I have to confess - both are true. Give me a go though because shameless cheese can only be a good thing!
