I have worked on a wide variety of films, including multiple first series and was fundamental to building the structure of those returning formats. I easily adapt to different types of factual programme-making and have delivered a diverse range of films, including archive-led retrospective narratives, science-based formats, drama-documentaries and observational series.
My roles on my most recent projects - such as The Mother of All Cons and Clickbait Clinic - have required me to tell complex narratives creatively through social media archive. I have been responsible for the sourcing, management and clearance for thousands of archive rolls, including personal photos and videos, social media UGC, news rushes, and stock archive.
I am an access specialist whose strength lies in building relationships with people from all walks of life. I secure world-leading experts, secretive and fringe communities, people bereaved by murder, and a range of talent, among others, for prime-time. Much of my work has been journalistic in nature, and I am highly skilled at analysing and condensing large amounts of data, handling FOIs, and working on stories with high legal and safeguarding risks. Duty of care is at the heart of my work, and I have a wealth of experience supporting vulnerable people through the production process.
I have spent a lot of my career on location and I am an experienced shooter. I have a comprehensive knowledge of kit and feel at ease on any kind of shoot - including studio, fixed rig and street filming. I am equally comfortable in the edit, overseeing legal and compliance notes, delivery of graphics and archive, and fact checks.
