Impact Researcher experienced in specialist factual production. With a strong biology background (international MSc magna cum laude), my main interest lies in stories that connect people, science and wildlife. Since graduating from Imperial’s Science Media Production MSc, I have worked on documentaries for Channel 4, HBO, National Geographic, PBS and France Télévisions.SKILLS: Finding Stories & Contributors; Reviewing Scripts; Science Communication (marine conservation specialist knowledge); SCUBA-diving (CAH classe I mention B); Self-Shooting (Canon C100, Sony a7S II, GoPro); Editing on Adobe Premiere Pro & Audition; Transcribing; Translating. LANGUAGES: Native French; fluent English; basic Spanish & ArabicI currently share my professional time between media work and action research to facilitate the co-creation of a new editorial culture in film and television, to achieve critical social and ecological impacts. In particular, I help coordinate industry-specific grassroots movements (e.g. Filmmakers for Future: Wildlife; Film Strike for Climate), a practice informed by a part-time course delivered by Forum for the Future's School of System Change (thanks to a ScreenSkills bursary).Having lived in six different countries after graduating from high school - studying in Canada, Australia, Portugal, the UK, France and French Polynesia - after growing up in Morocco, I am highly adaptable and value diversity in terms of life forms and cultures.
