About Me
I have worked with Paul Duke on many projects over the past four years and in my opinion, he is the best man to have with you in any edit. Together, we churned out many hours of Gaelic language documentaries under the 'Trusadh' title, covering subjects as varied as the Pope at the Vatican and the annual Tartan Day Parade in New York. I also worked with Paul on two series of BBC Alba's successful snapshot of a crofter's life in Ness, An Lot.
Paul was instrumental in shaping the documentaries on which we worked and his masterful command of structure was also invaluable on the An Lot series. He has an ability to quickly find solutions to problems which arise and solve them in a calm and grounded manner.
As a director entering into an edit situation, it is vital that you form a good rapport with your editor. This was never a problem with Paul Duke as he is a genuinely nice guy as well as having a natural curiosity for the subject both intellectually and visually. He is a team player who instinctively contributes meaningfully to the project as a whole.
