I am a self-shooting documentary director. I directed and shot the award winning feature documentary 'In the Path of Giants' (2026) - which explores how the world's biggest refugee camp in Bangladesh has blocked a vital migratory corridor for wild elephants. The film is an observational, character-led piece following the lives of a forest department ranger and elephant response team volunteers both inside the refugee camp and in a neighbouring indigenous village, as they are forced to tackle the growing elephant problem. The film has been screened around the world, it won the Living with Wildlife award at the 2026 International Wildlife Film Festival, got nominated for Best UK Cinematography and Best UK Feature Doc at Raindance Film Festival, recieved an Honorary Mention at Bristol Doc fest and selections from Doc Edge, Wildscreen, Rotterdam Wildlife Film Festival and Toronto Planet and Nature Festival. 

In 2025, a current affairs version of the same story, which I also directed and shot, was broadcast on Channel News Asia - ‘The Freedom Corridor'. 

I have worked in the editorial department in TV for several years specialising in natural history but also spanning obs-doc, current affairs and specialist factual. I have gained credits for major broadcasters including BBC, Channel 4, Discovery+ and Nat Geo. I am totally driven by story and find joy being both on location and in the editing room. 

I set up scorch films in 2025 with two filmmaking colleagues and we continue to independently produce documentaries together. Our latest short 'Back of Beyond' is in final post and due for release in 2027. Read Less
