I have extensive experience in complex, multi-stop shoot set up, contributor liaison, fact checking, script supervision and writing detailed and factual research documents.
I have mostly worked in specialist factual content, working for high profile broadcasters such as the Discovery and Smithsnonian Channels. Topics have included complex engineering, history and tracing family lineage.
Productions I have worked on have been fast- paced, high pressure environments, and I thrive in deadline driven scenarios, easily adapting to changing priorities.
I love working with people, easily building relationships with contributors which makes communication very easy. I do not hesitate to pick up and phone and call to sort out a problem, and have excellent inter-personal skills.
My creativity is one of my greatest strengths and I love to brainstorm ideas as part of a team. I am not precious about ideas, and am very open to receiving feedback. I spend some time at Ecole Philippe Gaulier in France, which I would receive feedback in front of my peers every day, making me immune extremely receptive new ideas.
Starting out as a Development Researcher I have experience of putting together pitches, decks and meeting with clients. I also have extensive archive experience and understand the ins and outs of archive research.
