I am an enthusiastic and reliable Runner who is eager to gain professional on-set experience and take their first steps into the television production industry. I am a recent film and tv production graduate who has experience working in all stages of pre-production, production, and post-production. I worked on a number of different films building up my experience in producing, directing, camera operating, sound recording, and editing. To note, I was the lead Sound Designer for a documentary called ‘The Friendliest Port’ which was nominated for Best Short Film at the Sunderland Film Festival.I have a good understanding of technical filmmaking skills. For my three-year course, I specialised in location sound recording and operated a 552 portable production mixer, MKH 416 Boom Mic, and EW 100G2 radio mics. I am confident in sound reports boom operating, cable management, and mic placement. I also operated the Sony FS7 and F5 cameras. Through experience with AVID, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition I also became experienced in editing and sound design.Aside from my course, I have lots of prior experience in the retail, hospitality and gardening industries. I have worked as a bartender, waiter, Sandwich Artist and Gardener. From these, I have learnt many conveyable skills including communication, punctuality, team management and customer engagement.
