It will be extremely fulfilling to further develop the administrative skills I’ve developed through previous work, such as working for Bolton FM on their front desk when I was 14 and then working for Lawlords Costs Consultants. In both offices I received and took calls, answered emails, organised the office stationary and completed paperwork. At Lawlords I was also expected to organise for mail deliveries and work in the post room once a day. I have also had experienced with money through working at Haigh Hall Courtyard Café where, as well as being a waitress, I operated the tills and counted daily takings before sending them to the bank. My voluntary work at Beechville Residential home also helped me develop strong interpersonal skills, as I had to speak to completely different people every day. I also often welcomed guests back after they had enjoyed a day out or greeted their families in the reception area.Organisation is a must for me, as I firmly believe that being half an hour early for any occasion is much more preferable than being even two minutes late. Checklists and diaries are necessities when it comes to ensuring I remember everything that needs to be done and also for optimal time management.
