A successful Project and Production Management specialist with experience of working on high profile multi-platform assignments. Innovative problem solver and budget manager; with a proven track record in achieving results. Perceptive communicator who leads by example and encourages best results by cohesion and commitment.During my extensive and diverse Broadcast Career I’ve successfully managed multi-skilled teams. I’ve delivered and produced a wide range of events and projects to the highest standard; and to budget. Each project and production required a high level of stakeholder, creative, financial, analytical and team management skills aligned with a flexible approach to achieve the strategic and delivery targets.Over the past 12 months I've been the Planning Manager / Production Executive for BBC Three. Providing financial and schedule data to the commissioning process for Current Affairs, Factual, Entertainment and Comedy. I worked closely with a wide range of senior Business and Contract Managers from all genres to ensure delivery of commissions within financial and volume targets.I set up the new Short Form Indie commissioning process for BBC Three, ensuring best practice and financial targets were met while ensuring quality output is delivered across a range of platforms. I led the team Production Management team delivering award winning content for BBC Three.I've managed the Technical Training Operational delivery for the BBC Academy, working closely with a range on internal and external trainers to provide the highest quality training across the BBC. I’ve also embraced an Agile project approach when required. I focus all financial reporting on forecasting combined with risk analysis; I pride myself in delivering complex financial data and business analysis in a clear and concise manor. I do not see projects as single deliveries but as a series of events to be built upon for continuous improvement. As Head of Projects and Production for ‘Pompeii and Herculaneum’ a live cinema production produced by The British Museum across the UK and Europe, I ensured the creative delivery of content was commissioned, developed and delivered. I authored the Business Case, PID, project reporting, risk management and post implementation review to the highest standards and within the British Museum governance structure.I brought together multiple internal departments with a range of external partners; including Goldman Sachs, The Times, Odeon group and Picturehouse. I ensured all key creative, business and financial decisions were aligned to the strategic aims of the project. I produced a series of short films for The British Museum website and staff engagement events. I worked with the Social Media team to maximise the awareness and impact of the live cinema production. All the content produced was aligned to the production brief and met the editorial guidelines of The British Museum. For the London 2012 Olympics I was the event project lead and pre event producer; working with BBC Sport, BBC R&D, NHK (Japan), LOCOG, NBC and Olympic Broadcast Services (OBS) to deliver the first Olympic Games covered with Super Hi-Vision pictures. I faced challenges with cultural differences, new delivery formats, unknown equipment installation times, new post production rendering as well as working within the world’s biggest sporting event. To ensure success I always kept the BBC ethos of supporting the skilled teams to undertake their roles, but also ensuring they all understood their editorial, financial and resource parameters. I brought together technical, production, commercial partners with resource teams ensuring they understood each other’s and the projects dependencies. I managed the key stakeholder using my full range of negotiation and persuasion skills to resolve conflicts. I developed and commissioned content for web, event screenings and film inserts. This ranged from translating complex technical data into bite-size films to a 20min introduction to the Olympic Park. While working as a project and business lead at IMG, I developed and managed a range of commercial partners to develop end-to-end digital workflows. This included location capture through to complex interfaces with databases, IP Director, EVS and play-out servers.
