I worked with John on a challenging and complex shoot that required lots of fast thinking and fast acting and there are few better than him at delivering and doing it with a smile. John is a great storyteller. Creative, organised, diligent and efficient in every aspect of casting, shaping and capturing stories. JW spent many months on location in France and Spain shooting My Dream Derelict Home in the Sun for Discovery under incredibly challenging conditions. Solo shooter, handling talent, contributors, all camera/sound/lighting and wrangling, following multiple stories with complex briefing, tight schedules and long days. Contributors and talent loved him, his rushes always delivered and he covered as-briefed stories as well as following dynamically as new stories unfolded in the moment.
