I love my work and the opportunities it opens me up to, to experience parts of people's lives and various industries I wouldn't get to see if I'd taken a different career path, and to also craft and tell entertaining and compassionate stories in the edit.  I see every job as an opportunity to learn more about people and the world. My main experience lies in Observational Documentary and Factual Entertainment, with branches out to Reality, Children's and Current Affairs. . I'm a confident Edit Director and Gallery PD as well as a self shooting PD on a range of cameras and kit set ups, filming both for Broadcast Television and sports/music/live events. I love tracking down and nurturing unique and interesting stories, and helping make them into captivating, honest and heartfelt viewing in their final broadcast form. I have proven my abilities to be a reliable story teller, capturing the essence and conveying the emotion of a scene through both my shooting ability and producing/directing skills. I have a track record of being reliable, dedicated and adaptable. I am great with contributors of all ages and backgrounds. Being a warm, positive and open character myself, contributors of all ages and backgrounds find me trustworthy and relatable off camera. This helps foster fantastic working relationships and enable contributors to open up, getting the best out of them in front of the camera, even in the most sensitive of situations.
