Karen worked for me on the BBC World Class project for most of 2012. I asked her to come for 5 days to work on one video. She was still with us at the end of the year! It's a testimony to Karen's professionalism. She was always efficient and worked to high standards. She was prepared to put her efforts wherever she was needed, and thought about the impact of decisions we were making as a team. In short, a highly reliable and valuable member of the team. I should say that Karen produced some very powerful films, especially a profile of a Kenyan teacher, and a further film about a young man with polio.
