I have worked as Head of Research for TV crime writer Lynda La Plante and provided research and script development on prime-time drama projects for ITV (Trial and Retribution / The Commander) Channel 4 (The Trial of Tony Blair / Sirens/ Endgame). I have also worked as an Assistant Script Editor at Shed Media on development and on the long running show Waterloo Road for the BBC. I have also provided script development at Working Title Films for Peter Morgan and Julia Roberts. I took a break from TV production to write 2 television screenplays and one stage play and have now got a literary agent at The Agency, Simon Blakey. During this 'break' I also had 3 children, including twins, but thankfully they are now all in full-time education! I miss the creative challenges and camaraderie of working at a thriving production company, so I'm looking for a new job in drama development or script editing at an exciting company, where I can bed-in and move forward. I am obsessed with current affairs and watch TV drama every night. I have a strong instinct for what works and why. I am passionate about telling popular, truthful and intelligent stories.
